The Hungry Bookshelf was established in 2009 after the birth of my twins. I was then a stay at home mum and working on the website suited our situation. I then ended up with 3 kids under 3 so was even buiser and the running website gave me sanity around the hustle and bustle of my young family.

It is now 2021 and I am working full-time in an office, my kids are all at high school and the website still gives me sanity from the hustle and bustle of a not so young family and my day-time work.

I source books from garage sales, thrift shops and book fairs, so if you are looking for a particular title please let me know and I will keep an eye out for it.
